SALT PRODUCTION FACILITY

When a major salt production facility needed a pump station for their process, they considered their alternatives in a highly corrosive environment. Their decision was a heavy-duty galvanised steel frame with FRP stairs, flooring and handrails.

FRP Engineering Pty Ltd succeeded in securing to contract to:

• Layout and grating
• Fabricate the grating and handrail system
• Test fit the components

The client was able to take the pump station (disassembled) to site, and then install it confident in both the product (with its superior corrosion resistance) and the fabrication.
